In honor of the sacrifice and dedication of the flight crew involved in the helicopter crash on the Desoto National Forest on March 30, 2015 and in support of the Wildland Firefighter Foundation,
Dillon National Helitack and Central Montana Helitack will be hosting a fundraiser at the Beaverhead Brewery in Dillon Montana on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. All proceeds will go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. We will also be signing people up for the 52 Club.
The Wildland Fire fighter Foundation’s main focus is to help families of firefighters killed and firefighters injured in the line of duty and their families in the time of need.
We honor and acknowledge past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters. This Foundation is supported by donations and the volunteering of individuals just like you. They do not receive government money and they are here because thousands of you choose to support them and each other.
The 52 Club is a program designed to help keep the foundation doing what it does best: Assisting those in need. It is an individual donation of $1 per week or $52 per year. If 75% of your employees or crew become members, your company or organization will be listed as a Gold Member. Almost everyone can afford to donate just $1 per week for a year. Challenge your buddies, friends, family, and communities to join in. You’ll get a patch, a pin, and a helmet sticker to declare your support for wildland firefighters and your spot in the club.
